canadiens-penguins

PIT (27-11-5) @ MTL (27-12-6)
The Canadiens welcome Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Bell Centre on Wednesday night.

The Penguins snapped the Washington Capitals' nine-game winning streak on Monday night with a huge 8-7 win in overtime. Evgeni Malkin registered a hat trick, while Crosby collected four points, picking up a goal and three assists.
The Penguins' captain leads the League with 27 goals and is just one point back of the top point-getter Connor McDavid, who has 51 points on the year. For his part, Malkin is third with 49 points.
The Canadiens, meanwhile, were blanked 1-0 by the Red Wings in Detroit in their most recent outing.
It will mark the third and final regular-season meeting between the two teams. Both clubs have one win to their credit on home turf.
We still don't know if Michel Therrien will feature any lineup changes on Wednesday night. Daniel Carr and Ryan Johnston were both healthy scratches last game.
Carey Price will be between the pipes for the Canadiens.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Sportsnet and RDS, as well as on TSN Radio 690 and 98,5 fm.
