The Canadiens square off against the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night in Raleigh.

On Tuesday night, the Florida Panthers snapped the Canadiens' 10-game winning streak on home ice with a 4-3 overtime win at the Bell Centre. David Desharnais (1g-1a) picked up two points in the loss. Max Pacioretty and Paul Byron scored the two other goals for the Canadiens.

Alexander Radulov, who missed the game against Florida due to illness, did not accompany his teammates to Carolina. He is still sick and remained at home to continue his recovery.

Al Montoya will be between the pipes for the Canadiens. In his last outing on Sunday night in Chicago, Montoya made 32 saves in a 3-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Canadiens recalled Charles Hudon from the AHL's St. John's IceCaps on Thursday afternoon, but it is still unknown whether or not he'll suit up against Carolina.

For their part, the Hurricanes are coming off a 1-0 win over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. Joakim Nordstrom scored the only goal of the game, while Cam Ward made 22 saves to register his first shutout of the season.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST. The game will be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet and RDS, as well as on TSN Radio 690 and 98,5 fm.
