LAS VEGAS - After finally snapping their skid on Tuesday night in Dallas, the Canadiens continue their seven-game American road trip with a stop in Vegas.

Tuesday's game saw Tyler Toffoli celebrate his return from a hand injury with a goal and an assist in a 5-3 win over the Stars. He had previously been sidelined since Dec. 4.
Dvorak (twice), Pezzetta and Anderson rounded out the scoring for the visitors, but it was Sam Montembeault who stole the show with a 48-save performance.

On Thursday, the Canadiens will be looking to win consecutive games for the first time this season.
Following back-to-back games on Monday and Tuesday, the Habs enjoyed a day off on Wednesday, meaning that any potential changes to the lineup will only be known following today's morning skate.
Joel Armia and Cole Caufield remain unavailable since being added to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list a day ago.
The Canadiens have a 5-2 record against the Golden Knights in their history, in addition to 2021's remarkable Stanley Cup semifinal win.
The Knights (23-15-2) are currently first in the Pacific Division despite a three-game losing streak, and only one win in their last six games.
Former Canadiens captain Max Pacioretty is currently out with his second serious injury this season. Prior to being sidelined, he had registered 21 points in 16 games.
Alec Martinez and Jack Eichel are also still in the infirmary for the Golden Knights.
In Pacioretty's absence, Chandler Stephenson has filled in with a career-best season so far, tallying 37 points in 39 games. Rielly Smith and Quebec native Jonathan Marchessault follow with 29 and 28 points respectively.
