Here's everything you need to know heading into the game:
1. The Canadiens split the first two games of their four-game road trip, most recently falling 5-3 to the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place on Saturday night. In that game, Nick Suzuki opened the scoring in the first period in Edmonton before the Oilers took the lead in a busy second that saw the two teams combine for six goals in the period. Montreal battled back from a 3-1 deficit thanks to goals from Evgenii Dadonov and Arber Xhekaj, but the Oilers retook the lead with under five seconds to go in the period and never looked back. Jake Allen made 17 saves in the loss.

2. Suzuki has continued producing steadily; his goal on Saturday was his 11th point in 11 games (5G, 6A). The captain has 26 points in 24 games so far this season, an impressive metric by any count but even more so when considering he's only 23 years old. Among players aged 24 or under, Suzuki is tied for third in the League in goals with 13, and is tied for ninth in points (26).

3. The Canadiens had the day off on Sunday, so we'll have to wait for morning skate on Monday to see if any lineup changes are in the cards against the Canucks. Head coach Martin St-Louis had scratched Chris Wideman - who dressed as the seventh defenseman in Calgary on Thursday - and Jordan Harris, dressing Rem Pitlick and Johnathan Kovacevic in their stead. The Montreal bench boss might also provide further updates on Brendan Gallagher, who has missed the past two games with a lower-body injury.
4. In their last outing, the Canucks snapped a two-game losing skid with a 3-2 overtime win over the Arizona Coyotes at home on Saturday. Bo Horvat and Brock Boeser scored in regulation, and Horvat got his second of the night with the winner in the final minute of overtime. Vancouver is currently on the outside of the playoff picture with a 10-12-3 record in 25 games this season. Horvat is the team's goal-scoring leader with 17 and he's tied for second in points with J.T. Miller (24). Elias Pettersson is tops with 29 points (11G, 18A).
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two teams. Montreal defeated Vancouver 5-2 at the Bell Centre back on November 9. Last season, the Canucks won both games in the season series.
5. Game time is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET. You can watch all the action on TSN2, RDS, or Sportsnet Pacific, or listen in on the radio on TSN 690 or 98,5 fm.
