Coach Michel Therrien rewarded his club with an optional practice Wednesday afternoon after winning all four games on the team’s season opening road trip.
The optional practice was held at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard, following Tuesday night’s 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Eight players were accounted for at practice this afternoon, including: Mike Condon, Devante Smith-Pelly, Brian Flynn, Paul Byron, David Desharnais, Greg Pateryn, Nathan Beaulieu and Jarred Tinordi.
The Canadiens next game, the team’s home opener against the New York Rangers, is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday night at the Bell Centre.
Following practice coach Michel Therrien confirmed that he will not be making any lineup changes ahead of Thursday night's home opener.
