- The Canadiens practiced at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Tuesday afternoon ahead of contesting Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Semi-Finals series on Wednesday night.
- Defenseman Nathan Beaulieu skated alongside his teammates during Tuesday’s on-ice session. The Strathroy, ON native is still recovering from an upper-body injury he sustained on April 19 against the Ottawa Senators. After missing Game 1 and Game 2 in Montreal, the rearguard is still slated to miss at the least the next two games of the series against the Lightning.
- Following practice, forward Brandon Prust met with members of the media to discuss his comments towards referee Brad Watson dating back to Game 2 in Montreal. Prust apologized to Watson and is simply looking ahead to the next installment of the series in the Sunshine State.
- Centerman David Desharnais left Montreal on Tuesday morning to make his way to Tampa. He is scheduled to join the team later in the day. The veteran pivot should be at the morning skate on Wednesday. Desharnais missed Game 2 with the flu.
