- The Canadiens practiced at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard on Wednesday morning to continue preparing for Thursday night’s tilt against the Chicago Blackhawks at the Bell Centre.

- Prior to the start of practice, Carey Price hit the ice on the South Shore for a third straight day with the Canadiens’ head athletic therapist Graham Rynbend to continue rehabbing his lower-body injury. Price skated without any equipment on.

- Injured defenseman Tom Gilbert also skated on Wednesday. Sporting full gear, Gilbert worked out with athletic therapist Vincent Roof-Racine. He remains sidelined with a lower-body injury.

- Captain Max Pacioretty didn’t take part in Wednesday’s on-ice session. He was given a therapy day.

- In his post-practice press conference, head coach Michel Therrien confirmed that Mike Condon would get the start in goal on Thursday night against Chicago.
