After missing the start of training camp for family reasons, right-winger Brendan Gallagher made his preseason debut alongside Tyler Toffoli and Nick Suzuki.
He arrived at the rink alongside his good buddy, Artturi Lehkonen.

It didn't take the Habs' alternate captain long to make his presence felt in the locker room.
Gallagher was front and center to fire up the troops before puck drop.

The Senators opened the scoring at the 13:36 mark of the first period when left-winger Tim Stützle tipped a point shot by defenseman Erik Brannstrom past goaltender Cayden Primeau.
Ottawa led 1-0 after 20 minutes.
Gallagher scored the equalizer with 6:25 remaining in the middle frame, intercepting a pass attempt by defenseman Josh Brown from behind the goal line before beating goaltender Anton Forsberg.
The tally, which was scored on the power play, was unassisted.
