TORONTO - The Flyers took a 3-1 series lead after Carter Hart posted a second shutout in as many games in a 2-0 win on Tuesday night.

The Canadiens won't have much time to dwell on the loss, with Game 5 less than 24 hours away. The Habs will be looking to solve Hart and rediscover their scoring touch to stave off elimination on Wednesday night.

Phillip Danault, Tomas Tatar, Brendan Gallagher, Shea Weber, and Kirk Muller spoke to the media via Zoom after Game 4. Here are some of the best quotes from the Q&A session.

Captain Shea Weber on his message to his teammates ahead of a potential elimination game:

"Our backs are against the wall. We've got a little over 24 hours here [before Game 5] and we've got a chance to climb back in this series. So we've got to take our lumps here and correct a few things tonight and then we definitely have to come with our best effort tomorrow."

Gallagher and Weber on the loss to the Flyers

Brendan Gallagher on frustration being a wasted emotion and how he plans to put Game 4 behind him as he looks to score his first of the series in Game 5:

"I told you guys yesterday, it's there. You just have to do your best to fight that urge and play for one reason: you play for your teammates. Regardless of what's happened, I've got find a way here. Whenever you're out on the ice, just take advantage of it."

After Flyers goalie Carter Hart blanked the Canadiens for a second game in a row, Danault assessed whether the young goalie's play was at the root of Montreal's troubles, or if it was their own performance that needed improving:

"I think he's been good, but I don't think we tested him very much the last two games and we definitely need to get better on the net and be hungrier. They played better tonight."

Tatar and Danault on the loss to the Flyers

Associate coach Kirk Muller and his staff mixed up the Habs' forward lines in an effort to jump-start the team's scoring, including the use of some combinations not often seen throughout the season or playoffs. Tatar gives his take on what effect new line combinations could have on his team's chances at this time of year:

"I think that's what happens when you're trying to create offense. It's normal. We're trying different combinations and trying different players in different spots. The series is going fast; you don't have much time to figure out the lines, so you just have to do whatever is available there. We're just trying to create a spark. I think we've done it, it's just a matter of finding the net. It's about getting one goal and then I think everybody will be calmer and just get rolling."

Muller sheds some light on the method the used to create his new line combinations:

"We knew that we were going to play a team that shuts things down and is very comfortable playing a low scoring, tight game. We've got to have the same attitude. We hit some posts last game and today was a tight game again. At certain times early in the game, we just didn't have momentum at all. So I tried to generate some more speed through the neutral zone and get some more pucks on the net, and that's why I tried different combinations to see if there's some chemistry amongst different guys."

PHI@MTL, Gm 4: Muller's postgame press conference

Muller on how he expects his players to respond on Wednesday night following Tuesday's loss:

"I think what we've got to do is wake up tomorrow -- this game's over -- and get ready to find a way to win a hockey game tomorrow night. We've got good pros here. They're proud guys, and I expect them to get up tomorrow and be ready to go and come with a real good fight for [Game 5]."
