MONTREAL - A handful of new Habs have arrived in Montreal.

Carey Price, Brendan Gallagher, Shea Weber, Jordan Weal, and Noah Juulsen hit the ice in Brossard for a first time since Phase 2 of the NHL's Return to Play plan began after spending the last several weeks preparing for training camp back home in BC.

The Canadiens held two practice sessions on Monday, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with Phase 2 regulars Laurent Dauphin, Charles Hudon, Jonathan Drouin, Paul Byron, and Michael McNiven also taking part in on-ice sessions.

More players are expected to join their teammates at the Bell Sports Complex in the coming days, once they pass their COVID-19 tests and complete their respective quarantine protocols.

Phase 3 of the Return to Play plan is tentatively scheduled to begin on July 13.
