On the campaign trail: Day 34

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens
MONTREAL – The stretch run in All-Star voting is upon us. With electoral campaigns for presidents, prime ministers and premiers all said and done, it’s now time put all your effort into ensuring the Canadiens are front and center at the NHL’s annual mid-season classic.

The Habs have seen two forward party members bumped from their leads by the Pittsburgh delegation, while feeling the heat on defense and in goal.  And while the spotlight shone on Montreal for its surge to the top of the polls right out of the gate, the tables seemingly have turned after the Atlantic Division candidates bolted ahead to staggering numbers in a matter of days.

Be sure to exercise your right to vote. Unlike the other elections, there are no age requirements and you can vote more than once.  You can even vote for all six party members at the same time simply by texting CANADIENS to 81812.

Polls close on January 2 so before heading off on holiday, help the Habs make history by producing all six members of the starting lineup at the NHL All-Star Game.
