957 – Number of days since Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro last played a game in Montreal, dating back to March 15, 2008. Dwayne Roloson got the start on Wednesday night and the Isles won’t be back again until February 10, 2011. Maybe next time.

660 – Number of days since childhood buddies P.K. Subban and John Tavares were draped in gold medals together at the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championships, reunited for the first time on NHL ice on Wednesday night.

7– Number of shorthanded goals racked up by Travis Moen in his seven-year NHL career, slipping a shorty past Roloson to put the Habs up 2-0 late in the third period.

5 – Number of seconds Travis Moen was a free man following the end of his two minute boarding minor, dropping the gloves with Zenon Konopka on his way out of the box.

2 – Number of times Moen has fought so far this season bringing his total to seven with the Canadiens, following up his tilt with the Devils’ David Clarkson on October 21 with the Konopka fight on Wednesday night.

6 – Number of games in which Tomas Plekanec has registered at least a point this season, bringing his total to nine points in nine games with a goal and an assist against the Isles.

14 – Number of wins picked up by the Habs in 18 games against the Islanders at the Bell Centre since 2001, outscoring the New Yorkers by a 61-36 margin in that span.

313 – Number of days since Jeff Halpern’s last multi-point night, a two goal effort against the Tampa Bay Lightning on December 18, 2009.

57 – Percentage of Islanders goals coming off the stick of Tavares in the past two games, with the 20-year-old center potting a hat-trick on Saturday before tipping in the second goal of the night for the visitors.

22 – Number of months since a Hab was last granted a penalty shot, with Guillaume Latendresse slipping a penalty shot past former Carolina Hurricane Alex Auld on December 16, 2008.

5 – Career number of assists accrued by netminder Price, chipping in with a helper on Halpern’s third period marker and kicking aside 18 of New York’s 21 shots on the night.
