The Hamilton Bulldogs have offered a tryout to veteran defenseman, Mike Commodore.

Commodore, fresh off celebrating his 33rd birthday on Nov. 7, has played a total of 484 NHL games in his career, logging 23 goals and 83 assists over his 11 seasons in the league. During the 2011-12 campaign, he took to the ice for both the Detroit Red Wings and the Tampa Bay Lightning; the sixth and seventh teams he’d played for during his time in the NHL.

Hailing from Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Commodore won the Stanley Cup with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2005-06 and also took part in the Cup finals with the Flames in 2003-04.
