Answers to FAQs following the NHL's decision to pause the season

The Montreal Canadiens have taken note of the National Hockey League's decision to suspend the season as of Thursday, March 12. The Club supports this decision, which is focused on controlling the risk of spreading the virus. We take the health and safety of our fans and spectators seriously, and the same standard applies to our players and employees.

We wish to thank our fans for their support and understanding.

Please see below for answers to some frequently asked questions regarding the League's announcement.

I have tickets for an upcoming game. What should I do?

Ticket owners are invited to keep their tickets for the games initially slated for March 12, 24, 26, and 28. Ticket owners will be contacted at a later date with further details, as events unfold.

I purchased my tickets through a resale site. Whom should I contact for information?

All tickets purchased through a resale site (e.g. StubHub, Vivid Seats, Ticketmaster Exchange, etc.) will be subject to the refund policy of that ticket marketplace. Please contact the customer service departments of the appropriate marketplace for more information.

I entered a contest through Am I still eligible?

In keeping with the NHL's decision to pause the 2019-20 season, all contests have been suspended until further notice. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Are Bell Centre tours still running?

At this time, all Bell Centre tours have been suspended until further notice.

Is the team store still open?

Please note that all Tricolore Sports locations will be closed to the public until further notice. We invite you to shop online at, which will continue to operate 24/7 as per usual.

Will the Canadiens still be practicing?

No team practices will be held until further notice.
