HENRIK SEDIN - C - 1999
Former Vancouver Canucks general manager Brian Burke had to engage in some creative maneuvering in order to select both Daniel and Henrik Sedin at the 1999 NHL Draft, but the work paid off. After his brother Daniel was taken second overall, Henrik became the Canucks' third overall pick and would go on to play 17 seasons in British Columbia. Vancouver's captain since 2010-11, Henrik Sedin led the Canucks to 11 playoff appearances, including a trip to the 2011 Stanley Cup Final where they would lose to the Boston Bruins in seven games. Sedin, who announced he would be retiring following the 2017-18 season, is the Canucks' all-time points leader with 1,070 (240G, 830A) and also holds Vancouver's single-season points record with 112 (29G, 83A), set in 2009-10.
MARIAN GABORIK - RW - 2000
The Minnesota Wild's first-ever selection in franchise history, Gaborik's 219 goals in the State of Hockey still stand as a team record. He also holds the club record for most points in a season with 83 in 2007-08, and his 42 goals that year are tied with Eric Staal for a single-season high. Gaborik has played 17 seasons in the NHL with the Wild, New York Rangers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Los Angeles Kings, and Ottawa Senators, and has 815 points (407G, 408A) in 1,035 games.
OLLI JOKINEN - C - 1997
Finnish center Olli Jokinen was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in 1997, though he would only play parts of two seasons in California. His longest stint was with the Florida Panthers, where he would spend seven seasons. Jokinen served as captain of the Cats from 2003-04 until 2007-08, and is Florida's all-time points (419) and goals (188) leader. In a 17-year career with the Kings, New York Islanders, Florida Panthers, Calgary Flames, Phoenix Coyotes, New York Rangers, Jets, Nashville Predators, Toronto Maple Leafs, and St. Louis Blues, Jokinen collected 750 points (321G, 429A) in 1,231 games.

JAY BOUWMEESTER - D - 2002
Defenseman Jay Bouwmeester was Florida's third overall pick at the 2002 NHL Draft. The Edmonton native recorded a career-high 46 points in his third season in Sunrise, and followed that up with a 15-goal campaign the following year. He played seven seasons with the Panthers before moving on to Calgary, where he played for parts of four seasons. In 2017-18, the 34-year-old St. Louis Blues rearguard only played 35 games due to injuries. Bouwmeester has suited up for 1,106 games and has 398 points (84G, 314A) on his resume. He represented Canada twice at the Olympics, in 2006 and 2014, winning gold in Sochi.
JONATHAN TOEWS - C - 2006
Known as Captain Serious for his business-like approach to the game, Jonathan Toews currently sits seventh on the all-time Chicago Blackhawks scoring list. Taken third overall by Chicago in 2006, the Winnipeg native has won the Stanley Cup three times, claimed the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2010, and won the Selke Trophy for the 2012-13 campaign. The 30-year-old forward has captained the Blackhawks since 2008-09, and twice suited up for Team Canada at the Olympics, in 2010 and 2014, winning gold in Sochi.
