My Essentials: Josh Gorges

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens
Some things in life, like water, air and hockey, are absolutely essential for everyone, but is there anything else we simply couldn’t live without?  In a quest to find an answer we caught up with the Habs’ Josh Gorges and put him on the hot seat to get his take on life’s little necessities.  Here’s what the young defenseman recommends checking out to read, watch or listen to if you’ve got a few spare hours to kill.

Movie everyone has to see:

Step Brothers.

Album everyone should add to their collection:

If someone tells me about a great CD I’ll go out and buy it but I’m more into groups than specific albums.  I think Metallica would be up there and you’d have to include Snow Patrol on the list, too.

Book everyone should read:

The fans should ask Pricey – I think his favorite is The Thousand Orcs [by R. A. Salvatore]: as recommended by Carey Price.

T.V. show everyone should check out:

Deal or No Deal is pretty great.

DVD box set everyone should own:

On DVD it’s Entourage, for sure.

A Website
everyone should have in their bookmarks

A place everyone needs to visit:

Kelowna, B.C. (laughs) I’m going to get ripped on for that one for sure!
