The Super Bowl victory parade for the Philadelphia Eagles, which closed streets around Philadelphia, forced the Canadiens to cancel their morning skate. Flyers players who live in the city stayed in hotels Wednesday night so they could attend a morning skate at their practice site in Voorhees, New Jersey. … Canadiens coach Claude Julien said Weber felt good after skating before practice Wednesday. It was the defenseman's first time on the ice since Dec. 16 because of a foot injury. Danault skated with Weber on Wednesday, and Julien said he's making progress through the concussion protocol. … Weise's return means Leier is scratched after playing the previous three games. Leier had been on the second power play, but coach Dave Hakstol would not say who would take Leier's spot on that unit.
