The Red Wings are 3-0-1 in their past four games after going 1-12-1 in their previous 14 games. Goaltender Jared Coreau is expected to start for the first time since March 26. He's looking for his first win this season after going 0-4-0 with a 4.40 goals-against average in four starts since being recalled from Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League on Feb. 20.
Goaltender Carey Price, who played his 557th NHL game in a 5-4 overtime loss against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday to move ahead of Jacques Plante for the most games played by a goalie in Canadiens history, will start. Montreal is on a three-game losing streak (0-2-1) and is 3-10-3 in his past 16 games.
