BROSSARD -- The Canadiens provided updates on the status of several players following Friday's practice at the Bell Sports Complex.

Forward Jonathan Drouin has a right wrist injury. It isn't the same wrist that was injured in November 2019. He's out indefinitely.
Forward Christian Dvorak has an upper-body injury, but it isn't a concussion. He was placed on injured reserve and will be out at least until after the All-Star break.
Defenseman Joel Edmundson has a lower-back injury. He's progressing slowly and continues his therapy work. He's out indefinitely.
Forward Mathieu Perreault has a lower-body injury. He'll be out for three to four weeks.
Forwards Joel Armia and Cole Caufield are returning to Montreal today. They've both completed their respective quarantines after entering the NHL's COVID-19 protocol.
