Medical update regarding Samuel Montembeault

The goaltender underwent wrist surgery on May 6 in New York

MONTREAL -- Montreal Canadiens general manager, Kent Hughes, announced on Monday that goaltender Sam Montembeault underwent surgery on his right wrist on Friday, May 6.

The operation was performed by Dr. Robert Hotchkiss at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
Montembeault should be fully recovered and ready for the start of training camp next September.
