MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens have issued the following medical updates on forwards Paul Byron, Phillip Danault and Brendan Gallagher, as well as on defenseman Shea Weber and goaltender Carey Price.

Paul Byron is currently sidelined with a lower-body injury after playing his last game on April 23 in Calgary. His rehabilitation program in Brossard is progressing well and he is considered day-to-day at this time.
Phillip Danault suffered an upper-body injury in last game night's game against Toronto. He will return to Montreal for evaluation by the medical team and will miss Saturday's game. He is currently listed as day-to-day.
Brendan Gallagher resumed on-ice training in Brossard this past week. His progress towards a return to play is considered on target by the medical team, given the six-week timeline announced on April 7.
Shea Weber is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Carey Price is back on the ice after suffering a concussion on April 19 in Edmonton. He is being monitored daily by the medical staff and continues to follow the return to play protocol. No timeline has been set for his return to play at this time.
