-The Canadiens held an optional practice on Thursday morning in Brossard a few hours ahead of the first game of their series against the Ottawa Senators at the Bell Centre.

-Players missing from the optional skate included: Brandon Prust, Francis Bouillon, Brian Gionta, Michael Ryder, Tomas Plekanec and Rene Bourque.

-During his press conference, Michel Therrien mentioned that goaltender Carey Price is feeling good and “in his bubble” in the lead-up to Thursday’s game. Price along with Max Pacioretty hit the ice only briefly during practice.

-With a few players opting not to practice, the lines weren’t able to be taken, however the rest of the week’s practices would suggest that these could be the lines and pairings for Game 1 against the Senators.

Prust - White - Moen
Desharnais - Bourque - Pacioretty
Gionta - Plekanec - Ryder
