- The Canadiens held a third practice in as many days on Wednesday morning ahead of the start of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series with the Ottawa Senators which gets underway on Thursday night at the Bell Centre.

- The Habs hit the ice approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled 11 a.m. practice time on Wednesday in order to work on both the power play and penalty kill.

- For their part, the Senators are scheduled to practice at Dollard St-Laurent Arena in LaSalle on Wednesday.

- There were no changes to the lines that had been featured earlier this week at practice, with the exception of Yannick Weber, who practiced up front with Jeff Halpern and Colby Armstrong on an extra line.
