Max Domi & Mats Sundin

MONTREAL - With two assists in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Flames, Max Domi is now a point-per-game player through eight games as a Hab.

Making Tuesday's two-helper night - his second since joining the Canadiens - even sweeter was who he had cheering him on in the crowd.
Mats Sundin - who is the Toronto Maple Leafs' all-time leader for goals and points and is tied for second all-time in assists - was in the house at the Bell Centre on Tuesday with Domi's dad, Tie, another longtime Leafs fan favorite, who sits third all-time on the NHL's penalty minute leaderboard.

Picking up a pair of PIMs on Tuesday in addition to setting up the opening goal and assisting on the second power-play marker of the night, Domi managed to pay tribute to both of his favorite Leafs legends at the Bell Centre.

"I looked up to Mats Sundin as a kid. He was my favorite player and my role model growing up and someone I always looked up to," Domi explained in a HabsTV video shot during the summer. "I still talk to him all the time. I asked him if it was ok if I put No. 13 on the back of a Habs jersey and he gave me the thumbs up."
