Mattias Norlinder assigned to Laval for conditioning

After recovering from injury, the 21-year-old blueliner recently resumed practicing with the Canadiens

MONTREAL -- The Canadiens assigned defenseman Mattias Norlinder to the AHL's Laval Rocket for conditioning purposes.

The 21-year-old Swede recently started practicing with the rest of the team again after recovering from an injury he suffered during training camp.
A third-round selection of Montreal (64th overall) in 2019, Norlinder has yet to make his NHL debut.
He appeared in one game for Frölunda HC this season in the Swedish Hockey League.
