Here are the lines and defense pairings featured by head coach Dominique Ducharme:
Forwards Paul Byron and Brendan Gallagher were back at practice. Both were sporting no-contact jerseys.
During his post-practice press conference, Ducharme confirmed that Byron and Gallagher won't play against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday night at the Bell Centre, but they may return to the lineup this weekend.

Meanwhile, forwards Jonathan Drouin and Christian Dvorak were absent from the skate.
The Canadiens confirmed that Drouin is sidelined indefinitely with an upper-body injury, while Dvorak is day-to-day as he follows the return-to-play protocol.
Dvorak was forced to leave Monday night's game in Minnesota in the first period following a hit from Wild captain Jared Spurgeon.

Montembeault: Back at work
After missing the last two games due to an upper-body injury, goaltender Sam Montembeault participated in the on-ice workout.
The 25-year-old doesn't believe his injury to be too serious.
"We're continuing to evaluate the situation. It's getting better and better," said Montembeault, who was injured during his 49-save performance against Vegas on January 20. "It was good to be on the ice today. I was happy. We're making progress. I'll be happy if I get the opportunity to play."

At this point, the Becancour native feels that he can play through the injury, which is good news for Ducharme's contingent.
Raymond on Price: 'He's looking forward to playing again'
Goalie coach Eric Raymond provided a brief update on the status of goaltender Carey Price, who continues to recover from offseason knee surgery.
"Carey comes to the rink to get treatment and train. He's heading in the right direction. I've spoken with him many times. He's looking forward to playing again. He misses it," explained Raymond. "At one point, I sensed some frustration because he thought he would be back a couple of months ago. It's not easy for him because he wants to play and he's working hard to come back. We're told that things are heading in the right direction, but his knee will determine everything."

Raymond also talked about his working relationship with Montembeault, and shared some thoughts on fellow netminders Cayden Primeau and Michael McNiven as well.
