MONTREAL -- The Laval Rocket advanced to the AHL's North Division Finals with a 3-2 overtime victory over the Syracuse Crunch on Tuesday night at Upstate Medical University Arena.

The Rocket won the best-of-five semifinal series 3-2.
Gabriel Bourque scored the series-clinching goal at the 10:13 mark of the extra frame.
It was the veteran forward's first tally of the playoffs.

The Rocket were down 2-0 in the second period before battling back to force OT on goals by Alex Belzile and Cedric Paquette.
Paquette's dramatic game-tying tally came with 39 seconds remaining in regulation.

Goaltender Cayden Primeau finished the game with 32 saves.
The Rocket now await the winner of the other semifinal series between the Rochester Americans and the Utica Comets, which will be decided on Thursday night at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica.
That series is tied 2-2.
