Recalled from the Laval Rocket on November 7, the 26-year-old New Jersey native was touched by his encounters with kids during the visit, most notably a little girl named Frankie, who was more than happy to make a new friend.
The pair enjoyed some lollipops and decorated brownies together before Frankie treated Agostino to a dance routine.
Coincidentally, it was the youngster's last day in the hospital before heading home.
So how did Agostino become such a natural with little ones?
"I don't know. I've always liked kids," he posited. "I come from a big, loving family - little cousins running around. We all just love kids."
His mom's profession might have something to do with it as well.
"I think my mom being a nanny, and working with kids on a daily basis… our whole family enjoys little babies and little kids," shared Agostino, who was leading Laval with 10 points in 12 games when he joined the Habs. "Maybe that has something to do with it."
