Carey Price and Charlie Lindgren aren't the only masked men on the Canadiens roster these days.

Jonathan Drouin and Marc Bergevin were at Cadillac station alongside Quebec Premier Francois Legault and Public Health Director Dr. Horacio Arruda on Friday morning, distributing masks to Montrealers in the city's east end as part of the government's continued COVID-19 awareness campaign.

The Quebec government currently recommends wearing a face covering when social distancing (2 meters) is not possible, such as at the grocery store or on public transit, due to the ongoing pandemic.

The masks being distributed included the Canadiens-themed one Premier Legault famously wore to his daily press briefing on Thursday, having received it in the mail from Habs captain Shea Weber.

Made entirely in Quebec, the washable and reusable face coverings are available for sale via the Tricolore Sports website.
