After bouncing back in their previous game, the Bulldogs were unable to string together a second straight win, falling to the Lake Erie Monsters 3-2 in a shootout at the Copps Coliseum.

Robert Mayer turned in another strong showing in his second consecutive outing, stopping 35 shots, while Brendan Gallagher logged a goal, an assist and six shots on net. Frederic St-Denis also found the back of the net and Michael Bournival was the only Bulldog to score during the shootout.
