- Rene Bourque missed the Habs’ Tuesday morning practice with a case of the flu, while Travis Moen and Petteri Nokelainen also weren’t on the ice, both suffering from upper body injuries.
- Canadiens head coach, Randy Cunneyworth, expressed that Bourque is already feeling better and is expected to be ready to face the Red Wings on Wednesday night. Neither Moen nor Nokelainen will be fit to play and it will be decided by the end of the day if the team will call up reinforcements from Hamilton.
- Ryan White took part in yet another team practice as he nears his return, but stated he’s unlikely to play in Wednesday night’s game.
- After getting a cut on his foot during a media scrum following Saturday night’s win in Toronto, Carey Price was back on the ice Tuesday morning. The 24-year-old goaltender confirmed he’ll be ready to step between the pipes against the Red Wings.
