Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced that the Club has recalled forward Philippe Lefebvre from the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.

Lefebvre, 21, has played 28 games for the Nailers this season recording 16 points (8 goals 8 assists), 12 penalty minutes and a +5 rating. Lefebvre played 69 games for the Bulldogs last season posting 11 points (5 goals, 6 assists) and 10 penalty minutes. In 256 regular season games in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 2007-2011, the 5’11”, 186-pound forward notched 174 points (76 goals, 98 assists), 130 penalty minutes and a +70 rating with the Drummondville Voltigeurs and the Montreal Juniors. During the 2008-2009 season, the native of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec won the QMJHL Championship with the Voltigeurs. Lefebvre was originally signed by the Montreal Canadiens on September 15th, 2009.
