Jake Evans will represent Canada at the Spengler Cup

The tournament takes place from Dec. 26 to 31 in Switzerland

MONTREAL -- Canadiens prospect Jake Evans is one of 20 players who will represent Canada at the upcoming Spengler Cup tournament.

A seventh-round pick, 207th overall, from 2014, Evans is currently in his fourth year of eligibility at the University of Notre Dame. The 21-year-old Toronto native has seven goals and 28 points in 20 games this season with the Fighting Irish. He also boasts a plus-19 differential and has served 10 penalty minutes.
The Spengler Cup takes place from Dec. 26 to 31 in Davos, Switzerland. Canada is the defending champion, and will be looking for a 15th title at the competition.
