Hamilton Bulldogs to play at the Bell Centre

Habs' prospect Andrei Kostitsyn and the Hamilton Bulldogs will take to the Bell Centre ice on Sunday, March 18, 2007.


MONTREAL - The Bell Centre will host the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Canadiens' farm team,when the American Hockey League club faces the Syracuse Crunch on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. It will be the Bulldogs' first visit to the Bell Centre.

Copps Coliseum, the Bulldogs' home, will host many events in February and March 2007. For this reason, the Canadiens and the Bulldogs have agreed to feature the Canadiens prospects in a game in Montreal.

Tickets in the Red level are $25 each and will be on sale as of Saturday, December 9, 2006 at noon at the Bell Centre ticket office and through the Admission network at (514) 790-1245 or

Fans who purchase tickets before Dec. 31 will receive a 10% reduction off the regular ticket price. Also, anyone who buys four or more tickets will be eligible to win one of three pairs of tickets for the game between the Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday March 17, 2007

As of Dec. 6, the Bulldogs were in second place in the North Division with 25 points in 22 games (12-9-0-1). On an individual standpoint, goaltender Jaroslav Halak was leading the league in goals-against-average (1.46), save percentage (.951) and shutouts (4). Duncan Milroy was the team's top scorer with 22 points (10-12-22) in 20 games, three more than Maxim Lapierre (22-8-11-19).
