Habby Birthday Hal and Travis!

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens
MONTREAL -- Exactly 36 years ago today, the Gill clan was swaddling their new bundle of joy, Harold in blankets at the hospital in Concord, MA, not knowing that their little guy was taking his first breaths on his way to NHL stardom. Exactly seven years later, the Moen family was doing the exact same thing over in Stewart Valley, SK. As the Habs’ birthday boys get set to blow out the candles today, why not take a minute to see what else has gone down on this date in history.

1975 - The Year of the Rabbit
Being born a Rabbit is nothing to sneeze at according to the Chinese Zodiac. The Rabbit is one of the most stylish creatures of the Chinese Animal Signs and finds interest in different cultures. He is classy and sophisticated, and can be found adorning one of the latest fashion magazine cover looks. They love to express themselves, which is evident when joining them at home for a function or a cup of coffee.

1982 - The Year of the Dog
Dogs make the perfect teammates according to the Chinese Zodiac. The Dog is a giving, compassionate personality. He offers kind words, support and advice to friends and family. He is a listener, always available to lend an ear or a shoulder to a friend in need. Often Dogs know more about their friends than their friends know about them or even themselves! Dogs are incredibly attentive.

With the news breaking a few months back that Zodiac signs may or may not have changed, we couldn’t decide what traits Hal and Travis really possess based on the stars. Are they still the same old Aries they’ve always been, or is it time for the Habs duo to finally embrace their newfound alleged Piscean-ess?
