Game Preview: Senators @ Canadiens

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

The Habs will renew rivalries with the Ottawa Senators for a second time in as many nights on Saturday, this time in Montreal following a physical 4-3 overtime loss on Friday in the nation’s capital.

Marking the final game of the preseason schedule, head coach Michel Therrien will have some tough roster decisions pending as the regular season nears.

Carey Price will get his third start in goal after looking sharp in Chicago on Wednesday, stopping 31 of 32 shots on the night. Peter Budaj will handle backup duties for the Habs while Craig Anderson will be between the pipes for the Sens.

For the occasion, Therrien is expected to ice a lineup similar to the one he will start on October 8 in Toronto.

Alex Galchenyuk, meanwhile, remains a question mark heading into the preseason finale after taking a hard fall late in Friday’s game.

Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m.
