Gabriel Dumont assigned to Hamilton

MONTRÉAL -- The Montreal Canadiens announced Tuesday that forward Gabriel Dumont has been assigned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs. The 21-year old centreman played in four of the team’s six preseason games.

There are still 39 players at camp, including eleven players sidelined due to injuries: Andrei Markov, Travis Moen, Hunter Bishop, David Desharnais, Brendon Nash, Lars Eller, Olivier Fortier, Louis Leblanc, Joonas Nattinen, Ryan White and Ian Schultz.

The Hamilton Bulldogs’ training camp got underway today at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.
