Four-year contract for Kirby Dach

The deal, which runs through the 2025-26 season, is worth $13.45 million

MONTREAL -- Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced on Wednesday that the team has agreed to terms on a four-year, $13.45 million contract (2022-23 to 2025-26) with forward Kirby Dach.

He will earn an average annual salary of $3.3625 million per season.
Dach, 21, scored nine goals and added 17 assists in 70 games with the Chicago Blackhawks last season.
The Fort Saskatchewan, AB native registered 59 points (19 goals, 40 assists) in 152 career appearances with the Blackhawks.
Selected third overall by Chicago in 2019, the 6-foot-4, 197 lb. center was acquired by the Canadiens for a first-round pick and a third-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft on July 7.
