- All of the Habs were on the ice for Saturday’s practice, except Louis Leblanc, David Desharnais and Erik Cole who took therapy days.

Markov working on crossovers

- The Canadiens will not practice on Sunday morning before their 6:00 p.m. game against the Devils.

- Randy Cunneyworth confirmed that Carey Price will get his 52nd start of the season on Sunday night.

- Andrei Markov and Petteri Nokelainen skated with strength and conditioning coach Pierre Allard and athletic therapist Graham Rynbend.

- Canadiens prospect Nathan Beaulieu continued his torrid point streak on Friday night, bringing his total to 10 assists in his last six games with the QMJHL’s Saint John Sea Dogs.

- Fellow Habs prospect, defenseman Darren Dietz, also had a big night on Friday, potting four goals in the Saskatoon Blades’ 7-3 win over Swift Current, including two goals in a 29-second span.
