- Brendan Gallagher celebrated Valentine’s Day by setting a Vancouver Giants record for most goals in franchise history thanks to his hat trick on Tuesday night against the Tri-City Americans. The speedy forward now has 129 career goals with the Giants in 230 regular season games with Vancouver.

- Both Tomas Plekanec and Erik Cole took a therapy day on Wednesday morning, missing practice. All other players were on the ice for the morning skate a few hours before facing the Bruins at the Bell Centre.

- Yannick Weber was also on the ice for the Canadiens Wednesday practice, but head coach Randy Cunneyworth confirmed that his status will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis. Travis Moen did not practice with the team.

- Randy Cunneyworth did not divulge what lineup he would be going with Wednesday night against the Bruins, but stated that decisions will be made in the lead up to the game.

- Petteri Nokelainen skated alone on the Bell Sports Complex’s second rink.
