 - The Canadiens enjoyed a day off on Sunday and will be back on the ice Monday morning ahead of their evening matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes.

- After tying a team record for most goals with the Vancouver Giants on Friday night, Brendan Gallagher is one step closer to also tying the record for most assists, as he added a pair of helpers in Saturday’s game, though the team fell 4-2. Gallagher now has 140 assists with his team, only 15 away from actually tying the 155 record. All in all, the Canadiens hopeful has an impressive 266 points to his name, seven points away from Adam Courchaine’s team record of 273. The Giants have another 16 games to play.

- Saint-John Sea Dogs’ blueliner, Nathan Beaulieu is on a good streak. Starting in February, he’s had six assists in three games, making it two-point nights. Saturday’s tilt was no different, as the Sea Dogs skated past the Prince Edward Island Rockets with a 5-0 win.
