BROSSARD - The Canadiens announced on Sunday afternoon that forward Jacob De La Rose had been recalled from the AHL's St. John's IceCaps.
At the same time, they also confirmed that forward Chris Terry had been assigned to Sylvain Lefebvre's club.
A second-round selection by the Canadiens in 2013, De La Rose has three goals and 15 points in 34 games with the IceCaps so far this season. He also has a minus-7 differential.
The 21-year-old Swede, who will travel with the team to Detroit, has four goals and seven points in 55 career NHL games since making his debut back in 2015.
For his part, Chris Terry amassed two goals and four points in 14 games after being recalled from the IceCaps in November. He previously collected 26 points in 20 games with St. John's.
