D'Agostini assigned to Hamilton

MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens announced Friday that forward Matt D’Agostini has been assigned the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

D’Agostini, 21, played yesterday his first game in the NHL, helping the Canadiens to a 3-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres. The right winger had 13 shifts with an ice time of 8 minutes and 49 seconds. 

D’Agostini was recalled on April 2 from the Hamilton Bulldogs. He ranks second in team scoring with 47 points in 70 games (20 goals, 27 assists).
