MONTREAL – This September, ELLE Quebec popped by the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard to get the Montreal Canadiens to suit up for a good cause.
In support of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation, Hal Gill, Brian Gionta
, Michael Cammalleri, Maxim Lapierre and Andrei Markov
traded in their jerseys for designer duds for a few hours this fall for the annual Men’s Issue of ELLE Quebec.
“This year, our theme is “What is a man?” Some of the things that came up were heroism and what makes a hero today,” explained ELLE Quebec Editor-in-Chief Louise Dugas. “And in Quebec, the ultimate in being a hero is playing for the Montreal Canadiens. The fact that they agreed to do this with us is a testament to their generosity because they’re doing it for the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation. We’ll absolutely be able to feel that generosity in the photos.”
