Corey Schueneman enters COVID-19 protocol

The 26-year-old defenseman didn't accompany the team to New York

MONTREAL -- Defenseman Corey Schueneman entered the NHL's COVID-19 protocol on Saturday and didn't accompany the team to New York.

Schueneman, 26, has played six games with the Canadiens this season, registering two assists.
The American blueliner has also appeared in 27 games with the AHL's Laval Rocket this year, amassing 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists).
Schueneman was undrafted. He played collegiately at Western Michigan University.
