Cayden Primeau recalled from Laval Rocket

Jake Allen took a parental leave and will be unavailable for Monday night's game

MONTREAL -- The Canadiens recalled goaltender Cayden Primeau from the AHL's Laval Rocket on Monday.

Primeau joins the team as veteran Jake Allen takes a parental leave and will be unavailable for tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Bell Centre.
Allen and his wife, Shannon, were expecting their third child, a baby girl.
Allen has a 1-1-0 record in two starts for Montreal this season, along with a 2.03 goals-against average and a .943 save percentage.
With Primeau's arrival, defenseman Corey Schueneman was loaned to the Rocket.
