MONTREAL -- The Montreal Canadiens announced on Thursday that the team's prospects will participate in a rookie tournament, which will take place from September 15-18 in Buffalo, NY.

The Prospects Challenge features rookies from six NHL clubs: the Canadiens, the Boston Bruins, the Buffalo Sabres, the New Jersey Devils, the Ottawa Senators, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Each team will play three games.
The Canadiens' main rookie camp will begin on Wednesday, September 14 with players reporting for medicals and physical testing at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.
The Laval Rocket coaching staff, led by head coach Jean-François Houle, will handle the coaching duties for games and practices.

Thursday, September 15
Buffalo vs. Montreal, 7:00 p.m.
Friday, September 16
Montreal vs. New Jersey, 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 18
Ottawa vs. Montreal, 12:00 p.m.
All games will be played at the Sabres' practice facility (LECOM Harborcenter), which is attached to their main rink at KeyBank Center.
