Brett Kulak

BUFFALO - The Canadiens announced on Thursday that they had recalled defenseman Brett Kulak from the AHL's Laval Rocket. He will join the team on Thursday night in Buffalo.

Kulak, 24, has appeared in 19 games for the Rocket this season, registering 11 points (3G, 8A) to go along with a plus-2 differential.
The Edmonton native was acquired from the Calgary Flames in exchange for Rinat Valiev and Matt Taormina before the start of the season.
Kulak was the Flames' fourth-round pick (105th overall) in 2012, and counts 101 games of NHL experience. He has two goals for 11 points at the NHL level.
