The Canadiens recalled forward Daniel Carr and defenseman Joel Hanley from the St. John's IceCaps on Wednesday night.
Carr was assigned to the IceCaps last Friday after starting the year with the big club. The 25-year-old played the first two games of the season with the Habs -- picking up one assist -- before sitting out the next six.
He scored one goal during his two-game stint in the AHL.
Hanley for his part registered one goal and two assists in nine games with the IceCaps.
The 25-year-old made his NHL debut a season ago, racking up six assists in his first 10 games with Montreal.
