Canadiens claim Adam Brooks off waivers

The 25-year-old forward played 11 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season

MONTREAL -- The Canadiens claimed forward Adam Brooks off waivers on Monday.

The Winnipeg native played 11 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season, registering four goals and one assist.
The former fourth-round selection of the Maple Leafs (92nd overall) in 2016 also played 17 games with the AHL's Toronto Marlies last season, collecting 13 points (4 goals, 9 assists).
In 18 career NHL games, Brooks has four goals and four assists.
